Rule 12
Duties and duties of other public prosecutors of the Attorney General's Office
The duties, duties and rights of the Associate Attorneys, Deputy Attorneys and District Attorneys of the Attorney General's Office under this regulation shall be as follows:-
(a) to assist the Attorney General in the performance of his duties,
(b) To appear and plead on behalf of the Government of Nepal or the employees of the Government of Nepal, if appointed by the Attorney General in the case involving the Government of Nepal in the Supreme Court or any other local court,
(c) To do other work related to the case as prescribed by the Attorney General or the head of the concerned department,
(d) To do any work assigned by the Attorney General or the head of the concerned department among the tasks to be done by the head of the concerned department.
